Foundation
The New Mexico Lions Crane Reading Program is the
signature project for the Lions Clubs of New
Mexico. The Program was recognized as one of the three outstanding Lion’s
service project at the 2005 Lions
Clubs International Convention in Hong Kong.
The New Mexico Lions Crane Reading Foundation advocates and supports the New
Mexico Lions Crane Reading Program. The Foundation is incorporated in the
State of New Mexico
and is governed by a Board of Directors.
At their May 2010 meeting, the Board of Directors elected George
Mulholland as president, Allen Crane as 1st vice president, Joan
Kalkwarf as 2nd vice president, Jerry Rawlinson as treasurer and
Eldon Steelman as secretary for the term June 1, 2010 through May 31,
2011. The ongoing operations of the
Foundation are conducted by a working group consisting of Las Cruces, New Mexico
residents George Mulholland, Allen Crane, Jerry Rawlinson, Ron Thomas, Eldon
Steelman and Cathy Waters. The working
group meets most every week.
